Repair blend

BPC-157 + TB-500

This preparation is a lyophilized blend of two peptides: the pentadecapeptide BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4. In research literature, each component acts on different pathways: one on angiogenic signaling and the other on actin polymerization. The combination has been used in models of connective tissue repair in rodent studies.

Research context & mechanism

The blend brings together two sequences with independent molecular targets, without evidence of a complex between them. Each component retains its profile described in cellular models.

Laboratory handling

Reconstitution
Laboratory procedure: allow the closed vial to reach room temperature, disinfect the septum and slowly transfer the diluent against the inner wall of the vial. Do not shake; gently swirl the vial until fully dissolved. Record the volume, diluent and date in the batch log.
Storage
Sealed vial of lyophilized material: store at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted material; aliquot when the experimental design permits.
Protective equipment
Handle in a clean work area with a lab coat, nitrile gloves and eye protection. Dispose of vials, tips and sharps according to the laboratory waste procedure.

Research references

The combination was examined in an exploratory rat study with a four-week follow-up; the cited sources do not establish its effects in humans. The sources also differ on whether TB-500 designates full-length thymosin beta-4 or a fragment (PMID 41966639, PMID 42542926). The commercial name alone does not resolve that identity.
